Crawley Town manager Mark Yates could be set to make a dramatic U-turn on wantaway striker Izale McLeod.
The former-Portsmouth and MK Dons player has been the subject of three bids from League One clubs and has not been included in the squad for either of Reds’ first two games of the season.
Both Yates and chief executive Michael Dunford had said that last season’s top-scorer, who has made it clear he wanted to leave, would sit in the stands if he was not sold.
But at today’s pre-AFC Wimbledon press conference, Yates said that the forward, who has a year left to run on his contract, has trained today and could be in contention for Saturday’s match.
