Crawley Town draw Gillingham in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy

The Red Devils have so far beaten League Two sides Luton Town and Cambridge United in the cup this season, but will face a harder challenge when Gillingham visit the checkatrade.com stadium next month.

While the Gills defeated Stevenage in the first round and only just made it past Colchester on penalties to qualify for the tie.

The fixture now means that the two sides will meet twice in the space of 17 days with the teams set to face each other later this month, with Crawley playing away from home on October 25, before hosting Gillingham just over two weeks later.

Gillingham are currently 20th in League One and just two points behind Crawley who are in 15th place.

Ticket prices for the game will be reduced and will go on sale on October 16, with adults being charged £10, senior citizens £5 and under-18s will get in for just £1.

Season ticket holders will have until November 7 to claim their seats, before they are released for general sale.
