Crawley Town assistant manager Jimmy Dack admitted he would like to keep two-goal hero Rhys Murphy at the club.
The Oldham loanee has scored ten goals this season, including nine during a three-month loan from Oldham.
“He has been an excellent. It would be lovely to get him back at this club, no doubt about it.”Crawley Town assistant manager Jimmy Dack
The Reds No.2 admitted they will miss him when he finishes his loan after this Saturday’s match at Barnet.
Dack said: “Rhys is a special talent. If you put the ball in the right area he’ll score you goals.
“He has been an excellent. It would be lovely to get him back at this club, no doubt about it.
“We are pro-active about it, the gaffer (Mark Yates) has spoken to Oldham. We would like to keep him. But he is not our player. We have got a lot of loan players and that’s the way it is.
“If he doesn’t come back we’ve got to have a plan B and get someone else in.”
