Reds midfielder Marvin Elliott has signed a contract extension which will keep him at the club until the end of the season.
The former Millwall and Bristol City player joined Reds, initially on month-to-month terms, back in September and has scored four goals in 14 appearances for the club.
Interim manager Dean Saunders said: “Marvin has done really well since I came to the club. He’s got a lot of experience and he’s got stronger and fitter in the last few weeks having recovered from his injury.
“He’s going to be important to us over the next few months and hopefully he can play a big part in helping us climb the table.”
