The opposition are likely to field popular former Reds favourites Sergio Torres and Scott Neilson.

Manager Mark Yates will be fielding a strong side but will rest any players who aren’t 100 percent fit as a precaution.

Yates said: “Nuneaton was a good test for us. We tried one or two things in terms of formation and personnel and the players who needed it got 90 minutes under their belt.

“We have one or two minor knocks – nothing serious – and we won’t be risking anyone on Saturday, especially with the first League Two game at Oxford United now just eight days away.

“But we’re going there with a strong squad and it’s a game I am looking forward to.

“We have brought in five players this week and there is some depth in the squad now and Saturday is the last opportunity for players to stake their claim to be in the team for the Oxford match.”
