Referee Mr Linington was concerned about player safety in some areas of the pitch so has postponed the fixture.

Incredibly it is Reds’ fifth straight match to be called off because of the weather, their last game was the 2-2 draw at Rotherham United on January 25.

Crawley already had up to six games in hand on some sides and their barren run of matches has seen them dragged to just one point of the relegation places.

Their next scheduled game is this Saturday, away at Walsall.
