Magpies’ players Roy Carroll (Northern Ireland), Mawouna Amevor (Togo) and Rhys Sharpe (Northern Ireland under-21) have been called up for their respective squads, with Elliot Hewitt on standby for the Wales under-21s.

The game had been expected to see last season’s topscorer Izale McLeod pitched against his former club just days after being sold to Notts County for an undisclosed sum which was reported to be £150,000.

The new date is to be confirmed.
