Another familiar face in the squad is Swansea winger Gwion Edwards, who scored twice in six games on loan at the Checkatrade.com Stadium at the end of the season.

Joe has been having treatment on the ankle injury which kept him out of the season’s final game against Bristol City and is fit and looking forward to playing in his home town.

He said: “I imagine all my friends and family will be there so it’s going to be a special day if I get selected.

Meanwhile Crawley Down-based goalkeeper Mitch Walker has been selected for England’s C squad.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion youngster won the Conference South play-offs playing for Dover Athletic.

Walker’s good form led to this call-up against Slovakia on Saturday, May 24.

Walker has been named in an 18-man squad by manager Paul Fairclough.
