“The fans are brilliant. There were loads of supporters here today and are now their getting some rewards.

“They travel all over the country - I realise how far everywhere is from Crawley and they went for a long time without a win and we won at Swindon and again here so now it makes for an exciting Saturday morning when they’re getting on the bus!”

“We’ve played ten out of the top 11 teams twice and now we are playing teams around us in the table so we’ve got a chance.

“We scored three goals away from home and could have scored seven or eight. We’ve hit the post and bar. They had chances as well and I thought they were a decent team. They caused us more problems than the last three teams we’ve played.

“A great effort. A great performance from everyone.

“We’ve got some men in the dressing room and they want to stay up, probably the best I’ve ever had. If you’ve got a spirit like we have you’ve got a chance. If you don’t it doesn’t work.”
