Reds let slip a 3-2 lead with three minutes to go before losing 4-3 at Peterborough on Saturday.

They must now beat Coventry in their final game to stay up.

However there is plenty at stake because Coventry need a point from the game to remain in League One.

The Sky Blues have already sold out their allocation of 1,600 tickets and both sets of officials are expecting a bumper crowd.

Saunders said: “We have one more chance this Sunday against Coventry City and you can play your part.

“I’d like you as many of our fans to send a good luck message to the players.

“The lads know how important the game is for the club. I would be delighted if as many of our fans took the time to send the players a message to show how much you are behind them and the club on Sunday.

“It could make all the difference!

“Every message we receive will be posted up on the dressing room walls and it would be fantastic if those walls were full of messages of support from our supporters on Sunday.

“Please do your bit and I will make sure the players do theirs and get us the result we all want.”
