Reds were on the receiving end of a 4-0 defeat against MK Dons on Saturday (November 3), a game in which they conceded a ninth goal in two games following a 5-1 defeat at Tranmere.

However, Morais feels Reds have a perfect game to bounce back in at Southend on Saturday (November 10).

"I've had a lot of really good experiences with the FA Cup, some really good runs and great memories.

"It can really boost a season so we will be really positive going into it and take the game to Southend and enjoy the occasion."

Although Morais admitted Crawley will have to make a lot of improvements if they are going to secure a memorable victory.

"That's the next step but we've got a lot of homework to do now and a lot of soul searching to do," he said.

"We've got to dig deep and look at ourselves in the mirror. We will go back to the drawing board and we'll work hard on the training ground. We're a good group and we will go again."
