‘Gutted’ Reds’ fans send best wishes to departing Fowler

Crawley Town fans’ well wishes for midfielder Lee Fowler have flooded social media after he announced he will not be joining them next season.

After an impressive loan spell with Reds, there had been high hopes that he would be offered a contract next season in League Two.

Talks had been ongoing with the former Coventry City player, but Fowler confirmed via social media on Thursday that it he would not being joining new manager Mark Yates at The Checkatrade.com Stadium,

The 31-year-old, who joined on loan from Nuneaton, had become a hugely popular figure with the Crawley supporters.

Plenty have sent him messages of support for the future and admitted they are ‘gutted’ he won’t be with them next season.
