The Reds have already beaten their opponents 2-0 at home when the two sides met on September 27.

Yeovil are currently third from bottom in the League 1 table.

The draw was held on Monday night at the National Football Centre at St George’s Park and shown live on BBC2.

The ties will take place over the weekend of November 7-10.

Crawley manager John Gregory was philosophical about the draw.

He said: “You would want to avoid the big clubs in our division like Sheffield United, Bristol City or Preston North End.

“You have to accept what you get and at least because we have already played Yeovil we know a bit more about them.

“If you were to draw a Conference team there throws up the chance of a big giant-killing act.

Crawley know all about that as people here remember when we were doing the giant-killing!”

Although with preparing for the Crewe game this Saturday he has not had time to think much about this year’s draw, he admits he still loves the FA Cup as much as when he was a youngster.

He said: “I’m still in love with it. As a kid it was the be all and end all and the only game we’d be thinking about. It was great as a schoolboy and it still has the magic for me!”

Captain Josh Simpson said: “It’s an exciting time for the club. We have done well in the past couple of seasons, so it’s one we are all looking forward to.

“Hopefully, we can go on a good cup run as it’s great for the club and ourselves so touch wood it’s a good little run.”

As well as a cup run, Simpson is hoping they can also get on a good run of results to drive up the table.

He added: “I think we have been doing really well and I think the boys have gelled well.

“It was always going to be hard and it was like signing for a new club in pre-season as we did not know anyone.

“It’s been great, the gaffer has got us together and we have a tight unit and are looking to drive up the table now.

“We had a couple of bad losses, but we are building on that now. Four points in the last two games is what we were aiming to do so if we can carry on that we will be fine.”
