Defender Christian Scales put Crawley ahead.

Gavin Tomlin was back in action for the Reds following his injury setback and scored to make it 2-2.

Manager Mark Yates said: “This game, last week’s at Wimbledon and the Sussex Senior Cup tie next Tuesday are a good opportunity for the lads not in the team at the moment to impress and get match fitness under their belt. We played well today. They had a strong side but we did well.”
