Two more leave Crawley Town in backroom shake-up

Crawley Town’s marketing manager Ryan Murrant has today left the club along with general manager Danny Low.

Ryan has been made redundant while Danny follows his brother out the door after Richard Low yesterday left his role as chief executive, by mutual consent according to a club statement.

Both had been at the club for just over six months having joined from Aldershot along with Richard Low and their abrupt departure is a clear indication of the current owners’ intentions to make changes.

Crawley Town have not officially announced the latest departures though Mr Murrant confirmed the news on Twitter and said: “At least I have a wonderful girlfriend and 4 lovely boys to look after. I did everything I could and won 2 awards. My head is held so high.”

He then added: “Massive respect to the fans, players, Richie B, Dave Pottinger & Silpa Winfield. Huge positive change in a short time couldn’t happen without you.”

It leaves Crawley Town without a CEO, marketing manager or general manager with just over two weeks to go before the first game of the new season at home to Coventry on August 3.
