Matt Harrold and Joe McNerney could return from injury to Crawley Town’s side to face Accrington Stanley at home this afternoon.
Gwion Edwards will miss his final game of a three-match ban sustained after his sending-off against Mansfield.
We have missed Matt Harrold, he’s been focal point of what got us some decent results in the first five games.”Crawley Town manager Mark Yates
Yates said: “We’ve missed Joe McNerney without a doubt, but that shouldn’t be the sole reason we’ve lost the last three games.
“If he’s not fit Saturday we are going to have to be better than we have been of late.”
Roarie Deacon is also an injury doubt with a hamstring injury, while another from the hamstring injury-list, Matt Harrold, could return to the squad.
“We have missed Matt Harrold, he’s been focal point of what got us some decent results in the first five games.”
Shamir Fenelon is back with the squad having completed a month’s loan at National League South club Whitehawk.
“He looks bright and lively in training and scored a couple of goals.
“He’s done reasonably well done there and wants to come back and fight for his place. He comes into contention.”
Yates hopes to have a full complement of players on the bench, which hasn’t been the case in recent games.
“We need as many fit bodies as possible around the place to choose from and everyone’s in contention.”
Yates praised new loan signing from Oldham, former Arsenal player Rhys Murphy who gave Crawley the lead against Notts County and is set to make is home debut.
“He’s a player we’ve liked for a long time and I’m convinced he’s going to score us goals. He’s got a decent pedigree and I’m sure is a decent player.”
He also praised midfielder Ross Jenkins, who has twice featured since joining on a three-month contract.
“I thought Ross did pretty well but couldn’t prevent the goals going in. We saw some of what he can do last week against Yeovil and I am sure we will see more of that in the future.”
