Crawley Town’s new owner Ziya Eren is looking to get attendances up to 4,000 by the end of next season.
Gates have slumped in the last couple of years from over 3,000 when they first got into the Football League down to around the 2,000 mark in the last few home matches, making it one of the lowest supported clubs in the Football League.
He will allow under-11s entry for just one pound as he begins the task of building a new larger fanbase.
Eren revealed: “Under-11s are going to be let in for one pound.
“And we are going to bring in a membership scheme where all our fans will be able to enjoy benefits of all our sponsors possibly, which is something we are looking to do.
“I believe we will get attendances up next season to 4,000. When I get the stadium capacity up to 6,000, then I will feel I have been successful.
“It will be our projects and our works which will increase attendance and I believe we are going to achieve it!”
He joked: “Maybe we will hand out chocolates to the fans!”
