Crawley United Under-15s won the Fred Sparkes Cup by overcoming Horsham League champions Dorkinians 2-1 in the final after extra-time.
Dorkinians took the lead late in the first half and went in at half-time leading.
Crawley equalised from an excellent shot from Kacper Gajewski. Moments later Crawley conceded a penalty and the momentum seemed to be swinging back in Dorkinians’ favour.
Extra-time was much like normal time with both teams pressing hard for a goal but with both tiring. With two minutes of extra time left Noah Rocha struck the winner.
Crawley United U11s narrowly lost out the Horsham League Cup final on penalties against Chesworth Rovers after drawing the final 2-2.
Crawley continued to press and took the lead again just before half-time. In the second half Chesworth hit back with through a deflected shot.
The boys played some fantastic football throughout the game but just wasn’t their day.
Crawley United U14s were runners-up in the Horsham League President’s Cup.
They lost 3-0 in the final against Roffey Robins United.
The team battled hard in the second half to try and get back into the game and had a few chances on goal.
