Crawley Wasps marched into the final of the Sussex Women’s & Girls U13 League Challenge Cup final with an impressive win against Mile Oak.

Wasps were soon into their stride with quick passing creating several good chances & it within 20 minutes Amy Perry had scored a first half hat trick to take her goal tally to 50 for the season.

Tia Perry, always a threat down the left wing then crossed for an equally impressive Macy Watts to fire in Wasps fourth for a commanding 4-0 half time lead. Wasps continued to play flowing football in the second half & after 5 minutes a passing move the length of the pitch saw Abby Allen play in Olivia Mullan who found Josie Stannard on the edge of the box who’s curling effort found the bottom right corner.

Solid defending from Eleanor Keegan, Emily Tilford-Carey & Mullan saw Mile Oak restricted to long shots & midway through the second half it was through two long range strikes that Mile Oak thought they had found a way back into the game. However, these did nothing to dampen the Wasps resolve & Amy Perry scored two more for Wasps shortly before Mile Oak scored a consolation penalty from the spot. Wasps go on to meet Eastbourne Town in the final in May.
