Manager Mark Yates said: “Lyle has done really well for us since he’s been here and I know he is enjoying playing regular football again.

“He had a bit of a niggle last week but I thought he did well for us at Bristol Rovers, when he came back into the team on Saturday.

We can now take a look at him for the rest of the season, with a few games against the better sides in the division coming up, and hopefully he can continue to make a good contribution in that time.”

The former Fulham midfielder, 21, joined Reds at the end of February after he was released by League One Fleetwood and has made seven appearances for the club, including five starts.
