The first announced returnees are some of the club’s most experienced players, having racked up more than 500 appearances for the Hornets over multiple seasons between them.

The eight signings are also joined by forward Callum Saunders, who was announced as their first new signing back in April.

And with further announcements on the way concerning even more of last season’s returning squad, and some new signings, pre-season preparations are looking very promising.
