The 21-year-old joined Crawley Town on a two-and-a-half year deal with an additional two-year option from Isthmian South East Division side Hastings United.

John Yems had been watching Rodari for five years but the Reds fans would have known little about the striker and his goal-scoring exploits at the Pilot Field.

Filippo Venness said: "The level between Hastings league and league 2 is a step up but it’s not massive. Don’t forget Watters couldn’t hit a barn door in that league and was a sensation for us. Rodari has been the best player in that league for 4 years. From that team of 2020 he is the fourth player to sign professional terms. And he’s better then all I’ve seen and two have gone to premier league clubs."

Richard Kail posted: "He looks a proper poacher. Some very Matt Tubbs like goals in there. Let's hope he can grow into league football! No pressure, he's got plenty of decent talent around him now to learn from."
