The headed goal from Josh Payne's free-kick was Collins' 20th goal of the season in all competitions.

Since Crawley gained league status, only Izale McLeod in the 2014-15 season in League One has managed this, scoring 21 goals in total.

Drummy said: "He's a fantastic player, four our recruitment team to get James Collins was massive.

"He leads the line every single game.

"He doesn't always have a good game but he runs his heart out."

Drummy clearly likes the quality he brings to the side.

He added: "James is a leader, he's winner, he's had two promotions. We aren't getting promoted but he performs like we are getting promoted.

"You want him in the side, it's very rare he comes off for that reason."
