Yems said: "We deserved what we got in the end which was nothing. You come here which is hard hard enough and we should have scored a hatful and we didn't.

"They are good side and they won't give in, but it seemed like some of us did.

"We lost as a team, we were winning as a team, we lost as a team. We have got to grow up pretty quickly or it won't happen again. We wasn't good enough on the night again to see the game out."

Yems was asked about the decision to take goalscorer Max Watters off in the second half, which raised a few eyebrows. But Yems responded: "Do you think I give a monkeys about what people think about the decisions we make? That's our decision.

"Just have a look at the way the boy was running for starters. We decide who comes off, mind your own business."
