Furngate to join forces with Crawley Observer for Sixes

Furngate Youth FC are looking forward to their annual two-day six-a-side tournament which is sponsored by the Crawley Observer and will be held this weekend, July 4-5.

This weekend’s Furngate Observer Sixes is expected to be a great occasion for both players, parents and grand parents.

A massive turnout and good weather is expected at the spacious playing fields of Oakwood School in Horley.

A total of 120 teams will play out group matches and knock-out games from ages groups from under-sevens to under-16s.

Food and drinks will be available, expertly cooked and served up by Furngate’s friendly gang of volunteers at the refreshment marque.

Organisers Raj Dhiman and Anne Truett are asking for all teams to register at the control tent from 8-9am with group matches starting at 9.30am.

Raj said: “We are still looking for some referees to come forward. Good luck to all the teams and thanks to our sponsors.”
