Former Crawley man and current England under-21 manager Gareth Southgate has emerged as favourite for the England job.

Roy Hodgson resigned after the humiliating Euro 2016 exit to Iceland last night (Tuesday).

Southgate, who grew up in Crawley and went to Pound Hill Juniors and Hazelwick, has been backed into 6/4 from 6/1 since Hodgson announced his resignation.

Gary Neville is the biggest drifter, having gone from 5/1 to 14/1 after leaving his post on Hodgson’s staff.
