Hide AdIt was Dan Andrews who stepped up to take it but the captain skied it. The first half was very slow with neither teams looking very threatening, but in the latter stages of the half Hollington started to knock on the door and had some very good chances but they just couldn’t break the deadlock.
Early in the second half Hollington’s Sam White scored directly from a corner.
A goal that surprised everyone at the game. The lead was well deserved and Hollington came close to extending multiple times. This meant that Sporting Lindfield couldn’t really get into the game.
With only eight minutes to go Alex Jegorovs chipped the goalkeeper after a dodgy clearance. This all but confirmed the win and , in the 90th minute, Sean Ray scored a header following a corner. An all round good performance by the Lions and another league win.

"Once again we created a lot of chances and if I was to be cynical we could of and should have had more. Good to see a decent crowd again considering the circumstances."
