Horsham have massively punched above their weight this season since last year’s promotion from the Isthmian South East.

Di Paola conceded that he shouldered some of the responsibility for the Hornets’ shooting woes.

But the Horsham manager revealed that he may have to ‘make changes’ if his attacking players don’t show signs of improvement.

Di Paola said: “Our finishing has held us back. Defensively we’re pretty sound.

“That is something that I’ve got to look at as a manager and think if I’m getting the best out of our forwards.

“If I exhaust all those avenues then we’ll have to look to make changes.

“I’ve got to take responsibility for our players not scoring enough goals.

“We’ve got one player in double figures and we’re almost at the end of the season.

“That player hasn’t scored many in truth since October.

“That tells you all you need to know about where our goalscoring is.”

Di Paola also admitted that the Hornets did not have the financial muscle to got out and compete for strikers in the transfer market.

But Horsham boss felt his side needed a ‘catalyst’ for the BetVictor Isthmian Premier Division run-n.

Di Paola added: “The trouble is we’ve always got he financial implications and attacking players are a cost we can’t afford.

“If you watch Man United, Bruno Fernandes has changed it for them. You need a catalyst.

“It might not even be a player. Maybe it’s my responsibility to come up with a different way of playing to get us to the next tier.

“It’s so frustrating because we’re playing well against the better sides but we’re not getting anything out of them.”
