After the game Payne said: “I was ready, I was eager to take the free-kick as well.

“Hendo (Conor Henderson) stepped up next to me, he’s left-footed but I fancied the free-kick and it was nice it went in.

“I think Coxy (Dean Cox) fancied it as well, but it was my time to take the free-kick and luckily it went in!

“I don’t mind any free-kicks to be honest and I looked at that one and I fancied it."
