Dunk gave an assured display as he played the full 90 minutes in the Three Lions' 3-0 friendly win against the United States on Thursday.

England now face Croatia at Wembley tomorrow (2pm), with the winners of the match progressing to the semi-finals of the Nations League next summer. If the game is drawn, Spain will take top spot in the group.

Dunk hopes to keep his place in the starting line-up for the game and said: "Everyone hopes to be involved.

"I've just got to wait and see what happens. Hopefully I did enough out there (against the United States) to get me in the team but you never know.

"We'll wait and see when Sunday comes. It's a massive game now and the winner goes through to the semi-finals.

"We'll be ready for it and hopefully we'll get the win."

England manager Gareth Southgate feels there is strength in depth throughout his squad heading into the match and said: "We've got really good competition for places and it was a good test for them (against the United States).
