Owen on target in the final

Eight Burgess Hill primary schools played a seven-a-side football tournament on a bitterly cold day, when hosts London Meed emerged the winners. They went through group one unbeaten against St Wilfred’s, Southway and Manor Field. The second group was won by St Lawrence at the expense of Birchwood Grove, Sheddingdean and Windmills. Manor Field made it to the final but were beaten by the only goal scored by Owen Ratcliffe.
