“I would like to thank our fans for their continued support during our period of terrible form at the end of the season.

Eight losses in a row is unacceptable and underlines the amount of hard work ahead for everyone at Crawley Town. It is a time for the club to provide action for the now and the future ahead.

“I promise better times for the fans. We will not give up and everyone in the club is striving for success. To dither in the past is for historians, we are here to start a new era for our club.

“Personally, I would like to thank Dermot Drummy and Matt Gray for their efforts so far.

“They had a thankless task in the last two games. The style of play has been pleasing and the fact we have had majority of chances in both games was positive. However, the results have not improved and this has underlined the magnitude of the task that lies ahead for Dermot and Matt. We, as a board and club, have full confidence in them.

“Regarding the current players, we thank those that are leaving for their efforts. We are negotiating with others about their futures. Our recruitment will be an organised procedure. The technical staff and board are tirelessly working to bring in the right type of player for the club. I demand players with character, passion and talent. The Crawley shirt has to be respected and worn with pride. This is paramount. We hope to announce our first signing this week.

“Off the pitch there are various things we are working on. Primarily the match day experience has to improve for our supporters. Various complaints about the matchday catering have been noted. I believe that our soon to be introduced membership scheme will add value for our supporters. We at Crawley Town have to become one big family.

“I would like to thank the sponsors for their financial assistance and support of the club. We are doing our utmost to increase our family of commercial sponsors.

“As I have said before, I ask for the fans to be prepared to laugh, cry, sing and shout together. The journey ahead is not simple but with the Grace of God together we will succeed.”
