Paul Terry stands down as Three Bridges chairman

Paul Terry has decided to step down following two years as chairman of Three Bridges Football Club and a further 15 years as vice chairman.

Paul became the chairman in the club’s first year of Ryman League football and has helped to ensure that the team remained in that league.

Club spokesman Alf Blackler said: “He has worked tirelessly to keep the clubhouse busy whilst juggling priorities with his own business.

“The Bridges Board would like to thank Paul for his efforts and will immediately start the search for a new chairman.”

In the interim, the club has appointed a small commitee to search for a new chairman and to develop the strategy and running of the club.
