SUSSEX SPORT AT CHRISTMAS: Follow it live

Boxing Day saw a full programme of Football League, National League and Ryman League action plus Fontwell Park’s biggest jump-racing meeting of the year.

Around 6,000 race-goers packed into Fontwell, while in football there were festive victories for Crawley, Bognor and Hastings, and draws for a number of other Sussex teams, including Championship promotion chasers Brighton.

Sunday’s action featured 5-0 wins for Worthing over Peacehaven in Ryman one south and Littlehampton against East Preston in the Southern Combination premier.

Monday brought more football, with Southern Combination League teams joining higher-league sides in further action.

Brighton have another big game on Tuesday night when Ipswich visit the Amex. Hastings are back in action the same night with a trip to Molesey.
