United hit by another call-off

United’s scheduled trip to Crawley Down Gatwick in Ryman Football League Division One South tomorrow (Saturday) has succumbed to a waterlogged pitch, making it five weather-related postponements in the last month.

The promotion-seeking U’s have still only completed half of their 46 league matches and another late season fixture pile-up is looking increasingly likely with every passing week.

Elsewhere tomorrow, Westfield’s trip to AFC Uckfield in Sussex County Football League Division Two is also off, while Bexhill United’s match at home to Storrington in the same division is subject to a 10am pitch inspection.
