There were three changes to the side who beat Cambridge United on Saturday with Tyler Frost, Sam Ashford and Archie Davies all start in place of Jake Hesketh, Sam Matthews and George Francomb.

The Reds went into the game on a three match unbeaten run while the Saddlers had not won in five games and had drawn seven of their ten games so far.

And it was no surprise as the first half remained goalless with Frost and Jack Powell having chances for the visitors. Tom Nichols was booked for a foul on Cameron Norman.

Ten minutes into the second half John Yems' side suffered a blow when Glenn Morris had to make an early departure due to injury and he was replaced by Tom McGill.

But in the 73rd minute the deadlock was broken. From a corner, Dan Scarr rose highest but saw his header well saved by McGill but Sadler was on hand to poke home the rebound.

Ashley Nadesan and Tarryn Allarakhia replaced Ashford and Frost with 12 minutes to go and in the 89th minute Nichols hit the post with a header.

But it wasn't enough as the Saddlers had Sadler to thank for their third win of the season.
