THREE Bridges FC have signed former Spurs midfielder and Crawley Town caretaker-manager Simon Wormull.
The 33-year-old ex-England Non-League international was a regular for for Rushden & Diamonds when they were in the Football League.
Most recently he has been playing in the Conference South for Lewes.
However he has decided to come back to his roots to help Bridges gain promotion from Sussex County League Division 1.
Manager Paul Faili raved: “Simon is the biggest talent Crawley has produced after Gareth Southgate.
“He comes with phenomenal experience and will form the best midfield in Sussex with Lee Carney and Joel O’Hara.
“He can help us cross the finishing line.” Wormull previously played for Bridges Under-15s and was making his debut last night at home against Wick.
