Garrett’s maximum haul dominates ladies championship
Spedeworth held the second round of its 2014 Ladies Sussex Championship on Wednesday night, with pre-race hot favourite Becky Hunn, being upstaged by Jenny Garrett who secured maximum points.
Going into the evening, all eyes were on Hunn after some spirited displays in the South Coast Hydraulics League, where she regularly mixes it with the guys.
The first race began to form, with Hunn leading early on. A determined Garrett though in her smartly turned out Honda, went through the field with ease.
By halfway, she had chased down Hunn. With just two laps to go, Garrett nudged Hunn aside, and went on for the win.
