GOLDS OUTCLASSED BY YM

LITTLEHAMPTON Football Club manager Carl Stabler conceded that his side were outclassed by Horsham YMCA on Monday but still could have snatched a late draw.

After Peter Brackley's through ball had been turned past his own keeper by a YM defender, Golds had huge appeals for a penalty turned down.

An Adam Hunt cross hit a YM defender on the hand but the referee waved play on. In the first half, YM had taken the lead from the penalty spot after the referee had adjudged Phil Turner had handled a cross.
