Golf stars of future join new academy
A GOLF academy for youngsters aged 16-19 has resulted from a innovative partnership between Worthing Golf Club and Worthing College.
The scheme will enable youngsters to achieve their full golfing potential while continiing full-time education at the college and obtaining valuable academic qualifications.
It was officially launched at the golf club last week by the Mayor of Worthing, Dr Heather Mercer, who said that having a sporting academy in Worthing was fantastic.
"We have a vision in Worthing and can move forward," she said.
