This event is the culmination of six months competition for golfers of all handicaps representing over forty Sussex clubs. Divisions are organised by handicap ranges, with Divisions 1-3 competing off scratch. Clubs are drawn in a round robin, with the winners then going on to compete in three rounds of knock out matches.

The winners of Division 1 were Pyecombe (Aileen Greenfield, Jelina Fernando, Alison Vermes, Jan Brittin, Lorraine Everard, Angie Bainbridge and Sarah Godfrey) who beat Worthing in the final to lift the Division 1 trophy for the first time in its 104 year history.

Thirty seven different clubs competed in Division 2 and the final saw the holders Royal Ashdown Forest go down fighting, with Haywards Heath clinching victory on the last putt of the final match to take the title for the seventh time. The Haywards Heath team were Pat Jenks, Tracy Turner, Haley McCartney, Rachel Addison, Sheila Tyson, Dora McCabe and Kath Honeysett.

Division 3 was the biggest draw with thirty eight clubs competing. The final saw some very tight matches between Golf at Goodwood and Singing Hills, with two finishing on the 18th and one match going to the 20th hole, with Goodwood closing out to win the match.

The winning team was Jo Dyson, Anita White, Judy Manktelon, Kate Donaldson, Jill Richardson, Rosie Hoare and Jo Johnson.

Division 4, now in its sixth year, is played in teams of five playing off handicap rather than scratch. 2014 has new champions with Hill Barn clinching victory from Sedlescombe who were also runners up last year. The team was Gill Peters, Sandie Smith, Pam Moss, Jane Musgrave and Liz Groves.
