IT'S A SIX TEAM RACE NOW

EAST PRESTON and Chippingdale's draw on Saturday helped neither team in their quest to get promoted into Division 3.

The result leaves the table wide open with just 38 points seperating top-of-the-table Southwater and sixth-placed Wisborough Green. EP are four points behind Southwater in second-place although both of them have played a game more than the chasing four '” South Bersted, Chippingdale, Horsham Trinity and Wisborough Green.

Chippingdale had the better of Saturday's draw and got EP eight down but could not take the final two wickets as EP batted out the last four overs. Andy Reeves unbeaten 21 was a huge factor as to why Chipps did not take 30 points.
