Grattons were quick to take the home advantage and went into tea with a three-shot lead against West Hoathly.

Despite West Hoathly making a determined fight-back Grattons went on to win 133-111.

Grattons visited Langney Sports near Eastbourne on Sunday.

Langney quickly took the lead and never gave it up. Grattons tried hard but went on to lose the match 95-131. Captain Terry said: “We all had an enjoyable afternoon, despite the score.”

Top rink was: Jen Hammond, John Hadley, Bert Smith and skip Adam Harding. Grattons also hosted the men’s Sussex County Fives competition on Sunday. A prestigious invitation competition. Grattons came second, a great result.

Grattons Ladies plus a few men travelled to Guildford to take on Wey Valley who came out on top in the end winning 106-100 in a close battle.
