Crawley AC ladies put on an impressive display to finish top in their opening UK Women’s League match at K2.
They dominated their first ever home match with a total of 238 points, Harrow scored 186 for second and Havering AC were third on 180.

Fiona Clark won the B string 3000m, Elise Lovell in the B string 100m hurdles and long jump, new signing Holly Turner in the B string 200m, captain Jo Rowland in the A string shot and long jump, Beth Crocker in the B string shot, Olivia Connor in the A string triple jump and the 4 x 100m squad of Amy Barclay, Elise Lovell, Jo Rowland and Kim Baptiste. Kim recorded 11.88 in the 100m and 24.39 in the 200m. It was great to have Hannah Brooks back from injury, finishing second in the A string 3000m.
The next fixture is at Bedford in June and team manager Helen Reynolds will need everyone available in order to continue the momentum.
