A determined 12-year-old kickboxer from Crawley has defended his title in a highly-contested three round battle.
Kian Taylor, who fights out of Tilgate-based Gatwick Kickboxing, defended his under 14 BKBU (British Kickboxing Union) belt following a re-match with home favourite Harvey Dossett.
The pair fought it out over three rounds during the Martial Arts All Stars event held in Surbiton, Surrey with Kian retaining his U14 BKBU British champion status.
The first dan black belt, who has been training with the club for five years, will fight again in October at the Guildford Spectrum.
Trainer and coach Greig Bradbury said: “Kian was fantastic and won on the superiority of his kicks.
“Both fighters gave everything they are both two incredibly tough fighter who both upped their game.
“Kian came through victorious and it was great to see some of the drills we had worked on down the club coming to fruition.”
This is Kian’s third title to date.
