Sussex Two West

Crawley II 15 St Francis 41

Crawley hosted a much improved Saints side in this local derby.

The visitors, who look to have recruited well in the later part of this season, started very strongly and were able to register 31 points in the first half with Crawley only able to cross the line once.

The second half was a much closer battle as Crawley started to pull together and make the visitors work harder for their points.

Crawley tries came from Dan Keegan and Josh Maher in only his second ever game of rugby, with conversion and penalty points added by Thompson.

Some outstanding performances were witnessed from Crawley colts Fraser Thompson, Craig Mansfield and Lucas Black making their senior debuts.
