England rugby player Tom Wood is backing BMW for their sponsorship of the England team at this year’s Rugby World Cup.
Vines BMW are reopening their car showroom in Three Bridges today (Saturday) and rugby fans are being given the chance to record their best version of the England team’s anthem Sweet Chariot’ in a special BMW X5 which is converted into a mobile recording studio.
BMW ambassador Wood is promoting theses sessions as well as playing a key part in England’s plans for the World Cup. In fact he captained the team in their World Cup warm-up match against France at the weekend which they won 19-14.
He said: “To hear 60,000 people singing Sweet Chariot when you walk out at Twickenham fills you with pride and can be like a 16th man!”
