Nina leads the Tone Zone charge in Paris

First home for the club was Nina Baldwinson who, despite the warm conditions, ran the race of her life to finish in a personal best of 3hr 32min 9sec. She was a creditable 186th out of 4,422 in her age category.
She was closely followed by Neil Strudwick six minutes later, also running his fastest marathon to date.

Hide AdPaul Westwood took an amazing 49 minutes from his last marathon time.
Closer to home at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Petersfield, there was the challenge of a very muddy and hilly half marathon which was started byTone Zone’s Amanda Worne.
Felicity Paton finished in 2.07.22, a great time considering the conditions. Seventeen minutes covered the other nine ladies from the club.
Along the coast in Bournemouth was another half marathon, where Carl Bryant completed the course in a PB of 1:52.30. Michelle Miles had a great run in only her second half marathon finishing in 2:16.24.

Hide AdTwo Tone Zone members attended the Reading half marathon – Simon Gill finished in 1:17.34 and Stuart Thomson 2:09.48.
