Crawley Town FA Cup hero 'not surprised' his former side beat Leeds United in the third round
Ten years ago, Sergio Torres write his name into Crawley Town folklore with a brilliant last minute winner against Derby County ion the FA Cup third round.
And a decade later, the Reds legend was back in the stands to see John Yems' side hammer Leeds United 3-0 to put another chapter in the Crawley Town history books.
The Argentinian was not surprised by the result and said Leeds did 'not fancy it'.
He said: "I am not surprised to be fair. I have seen a bit of Crawley this season and they have been playing really well. and are solid at the back.
"I didn't think the Leeds players fancied it. It's amazing for the Crawley boys, it's a cup final. They were brilliant, they deserved to win today."
But there was one thing lacking for Torres. "It is such a shame the fans were not here. Everytime they scored I kept saying that. That night was amazing ten years ago, but this is also a very good day for Crawley Town."
