Another surprising result this week saw the Barracudas demolish Summer League Premier Division champions the Raiders, who finished third in the winter league Premier Division last season.

Other winners were; Jubilee Dogs, Sticks and Balls, Pocket Knockers, Rockets, Rugby Club, Apple Tree, The Grasshopper, Nomads, White Knight, Special K, Here4Beer, Pelham Caddies, Mavericks and The Ploughmen.

Fairways star Adam McSharry has transferred to is a top player among the Crawley pool community and was a key contributor to the defeat of Special K in last year’s Premier Division title play-off.

Adam has played for Fairways for a number of years and also plays with many of the town’s top players from other teams in a number of other leagues within Surrey and Sussex.

This year there is a record numbers of local businesses sponsoring this sport, these include; The Crawley Observer, Crawley Rugby Football Club, The Windmill, Dr Samuel Johnson, The Downsman, The Grasshopper, JEM Trophies, Think Electrics, DA Cabling, Tarratt Tables and Sash Window Specialist.
